I used to do more #FollowFriday tweets than I do now. In fact, I hardly do them at all anymore.
I have a hard time explaining to you in 140 characters why I think you should follow someone. Besides there’s always so much more to these folks than just whats in their Twitter stream. Usually a whole lot more. So here’s my new version of Follow Friday. Well, by new I mean that I stole borrowed the idea from Chris Brogan or should I say @chrisbrogan?
Kick Ass #FF Peeps
@lbelgray
You should follow her because she’s freak’n hilarious. She has a fine affinity for crap reality TV programming and she usually tweets about it. She seems like the type of person you’d want to sit on a park bench with and quietly make fun of the folks that passed by. Oh come on, you now you do it too. She’s also the author of Talking Shrimp, which is a ridiculously funny blog of a slightly unusual, yet addictive color. Oh yea, she’s also a really good at writing copy that grabs people by the coconuts.
@NathLussier
Also known as the Raw Foods Witch. Does that sound spooky? Well, it is. She gets people to eat more veggies – RAW! Not only that, but she gets people to like it. If that’s not spooky I don’t know what is. I’ve been pretty low on energy lately. Working late hours, getting up early, stepping up my physical training, and just being a family man has left me pretty drained. I know that the food I’m eating (or not eating) is a big part of that. Natalie does an excellent job of teaching you how and why to eat all the right foods so that your body gets the most out of them.
Speaking of food…
@EatUpATL
When I was still in high school, my mom and I would have a lunch date every Friday afternoon. The only requirement was that we went someplace we had never been to before and it had to be fairly unknown. We called these places “Hole-in-the-walls”. Some were amazing little family restaurants and others… not so much. Either way it was exciting, new, and fun. Unfortunately, these days it’s getting harder and harder to find these great places in Atlanta. That’s why I love Eat Up ATL. They do a great job of highlighting all the great local talent. It’s to bad they weren’t around 13 years ago. We could of saved our taste buds from some horrible meals.
@MoonshadowFarm
She’s an amazingly compassionate barn girl. You know, one of those sexy barn girls. She’s also my wife so I can say that without being a pig (oink). If horses are a part of your life in any way, you seriously should follow her. She’s really good at what she does (yes that’s my daughter on the welcome page) - training, riding lessons, show jumping, show league organizing, barn managing, and making it so I don’t have to mess with any horses.
Then there’s me, but you probably already follow me, right?
So who’s your #FollowFriday picks? Don’t be stingy. Let us know in the comments.

I have to earn those brownie points with @MoonshadowFarm when I can. I never know when I’m going to need them
Why thank you, Andy! I’m flattered, and delighted to be in such fine company. Just so you know, I do not sit on park benches and quietly make fun of people. I do it real loud, so they can hear. “HEY DORKUS, WHERE’D YOU LEARN TO WALK LIKE THAT? WHOOPS, DON’T TRIP!” If I’m gonna say it, I’ll say it to your face.
